The Ghana Boundary Commission (GhBC) and the National Boundary Commission of Burkina Faso held its second plenary meeting in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso from 2 to 3 March 2023. The meeting was aimed at jointly developing a plan of action for the reaffirmation of the common land boundary between the two countries. The meeting also outlined strategies for Cross Border activities under the AU Convention on Cross Border agreement along the Ghana and Burkina Faso border. In attendance at the opening ceremony was the Ambassador of Ghana to Burkina Faso, HE Boniface Gambilla. The Ghana delegation was led by the National Coordinator of GhBC, Major General Emmanuel Kotia whiles the Permanent Secretary of the National Boundary Commission of Burkina Faso, Madam Salimata Dabal led the team from Burkina Faso.
