The Ghana Boundary Commission jointly conducted a boundary inspection exercise of the Dollar Power area with representatives of various stakeholder ministries on 31 January 2024. The aim of the exercise was to inspect the state of boundary pillars at the Dollar Power area, depth of illegal mining activities in the area, as well as progress made on the feeder road being constructed from Ntreaso to Dollar Power.
Present at the exercise were Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor, Minister for Lands and Natural Resources; Hon. Benito Owusu-Bio, Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources; Hon. Stephen Jalulah, Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways; Hon. Savannah Saeed Muhazu Jibril, Savannah Regional Minister; Maj. Gen Emmanuel Kotia, Commissioner General of the Ghana Boundary Commission; Madam Veronica Alele Heming, DCE of the Bole District Assembly; the Savannah Regional Security Council; and staff of the sector ministries and the Commission
