A delegation from the Ghana Boundary Commission, led by the Commissioner General, Major General Emmanuel Kotia, on Tuesday 18 March 2025, paid a courtesy call on the Interior Minister, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak at the Ministry in Accra.
The visit aimed to brief the Minister on the operations of the Commission, with emphasis on aspects that are of interest to the Ministry. The visit also aimed to discuss issues of mutual concern and to further explore areas of strengthened collaboration.
Welcoming the team, the Minister, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak highlighted how enlightening the discussion was. He stressed the need for regular engagements between the Commission, the Ministry, and the various agencies under the Ministry whose activities are directly and indirectly linked to the operations of the Commission. The Minister further pledged a heightened collaborative relationship between the Ministry and the Commission.
The visit of the Commission to the Ministry of the Interior is part of a series of annual visits to key stakeholders of the Commission aimed at ensuring continuous collaboration between the Commission and its stakeholders.
