A delegation from the Ghana Boundary Commission, led by the Commissioner General, Brigadier General Anthony Ntem, paid a courtesy call on the Togolese High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E. Col. Awoki Panassa, at the Togo High Commission in Cantonments today.
The aim of the visit was for the Commissioner General to formally introduce himself to the High Commissioner, after assuming office as the Executive Head of the Commission. Discussions also focused on the strong collaboration between the Boundary Commissions of Ghana and Togo, as well as progress made on the joint management of the Ghana/Togo international Land and Maritime Boundaries by the Joint Ghana/Togo Technical Committee.
H.E. Col. Panassa expressed his appreciation for the visit, after congratulating Brigadier General Ntem, and reaffirmed Togo’s commitment to continued cooperation with the Commission. The Commissioner General also expressed the Commission’s readiness to continue works at the Joint Technical Committee to advance the shared boundary governance goals of both states.
