Commissioner General’s Working Visit to Naval Headquarters – 14th January 2026

The Commissioner-General of the Ghana Boundary Commission (GhBC), Major General Anthony Ntem paid a working visit to the Naval Headquarters today. He was accompanied by some selected staff of the Commission. The aim of the visit was to congratulate the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Godwin Bessing, on his appointment and also to hold discussions on some collaborative activities earmarked to be conducted in the year. On arrival at the Navy HQ, the Commissioner-General was received by the Chief Staff officer at the HQ after which he inspected a Quarter Guard.
Major General Ntem expressed appreciation for the warm reception offered him by the CNS and Staff. He congratulated the Chief and commended the Ghana Navy for its continued support to the Commission. He further requested sustained collaboration in 2026.
In response, Rear Admiral Bessing reaffirmed the statutory relationship between the Ghana Boundary Commission and the Ghana Navy, acknowledged the Commission’s critical role in maritime boundary management, and pledged the Navy’s continued support..
